Saturday was difficult. There was a party...hosted by Rummy and wow, there were all kinds of meat delicacies just taunting me. I looked, I smelled but I didn't sample the wares. I stuck with the vino and had to make an early departure. She (Rummy) went all out for the party too...music, food, chocolate fondue, vino...she did a great job!

So...yesterday (Sunday) marked the end of the two (2) week trial period for trying out the veggie-saurus lifestyle. Went to brunch at Harmoni Market in College Park, had a pomegranate mimosa and looked over the menu. There was a hamburger and the menu might as well have had a neon sign and flashing lights pointing to the hamburger. What to do?! They did have vegetarian options but darn, the thought of a hamburger was pushing me over the edge...the pressure of it all! The waitress comes and I stall a bit....what do I do?! I opened my mouth and my order came out as, "I'll have the caprese pannini, please." Ugh! I couldn't do it, thought about it but didn't follow through with the juicy, mouth watering, tender, rare hamburger. (Oy...still want that hamburger....)!

I've come this far, think I'll stay in the land of the veggie-saurus a little while longer!
