My head was spinning around...

Too much stress. Too much from everyone. I needed a "Calgon" moment in a bad way. I thought I would surely lose control when I got a phone call from Cosmo. I heard her voice and let it all out...my job, my friends, my family, my pets (they are acting out) and I was just over it! She suggested that I take some time for me...a day spa! Wait...what the "f" do I do at a day spa? Relax, she said. So, I went and that was the best thing my girl could have suggested for me! I entered this unknown world and was greeted with the smell of lavendar, whispers, soft music and candlelight. Wow...I've died and gone to heaven.

I changed into a big comfy robe, slippers and then the relaxation began. Their first question? Would you like a glass of....I didn't let them finish and just said, "Yes." So, with my vino in hand, robe on, I go into the first room - sea salt body treatment with a loofah, massage then a serenity leg mask treatment (they wrap your legs in herbs, plastic and heat), the second room - an 85 minute body masssage (no happy finish, thank god) and who knew I had all this stress. Thought to myself, "Have to do more yoga." Then, there was lunch. Yep, I told them I was a veggie-saurus but when lunch was presented (along with another glass of vino) there was horror, turkey in the wrap. Oh no! What do I do? I'm the only one on this other planet of relaxation and whispering workers...do I complain?! Ugh! They appeared out of nowhere and I explained that I needed a vegetarian plate. No problem...they fixed it (think they added extra onions just to spite me) and then life was happy and relaxing again. Oh and...they brought me more vino!

Next room - a facial. Wow. They used about 20 different products on my face. Each time, gently removing the product with a warm towel, more leg massages and soft music. Then, my last trip...six hours later...a pedicure. When I left, I was like jello!

The best money I ever spent on me! It's funny, the whole time I was there, I couldn't help but think that Cosmo would have enjoyed this too! Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, Cosmo! Muah!

So jealous. Your friend Rummy would have loved it too. We need a girls day spa day!

Us Girls do NEED a spa day! Maybe I can try to work my magic and get a group rate.

Cab, so glad it was what you needed! Sometimes you need to take some time for yourself!
